Father Andrew Runs for St Vincent’s Furniture Store
Following last year’s hiccup the Sheffield Half Marathon was revamped for 2015. There were new organisers, a new course and a brand new wave of excitement and enthusiasm.
Father Andrew Browne, Vicky Gould and Marie Grant had all completed the ‘Marathon that never was’ last year. They had done so in aid of St Vincent’s Furniture Store and had all agreed to take on the challenge again this year.
What a Fantastic Evening
We thought that we would never surpass the first event but Mother of God’s got Talent 2 turned out to be even better than the original. With the variety of acts, including singers, dancers, comedian, a tin whistle player and a family band there was something to suit everyone.
Our judges Gerry Kersey and Mike Murphy did a fantastic job, commenting on each act and choosing the eventual winner. Our own Little Ant and Dec were just as funny and cheeky as always. What can we say about our sound man, Jim Hogan who worked his socks off all evening to make sure that the tunes were spot on.

Tickets are now on sale for this fantastic event – 12 acts are lined up to give you a wonderful night of entertainment. Tickets are priced at £5.00 per adult and £3.00 per child/student.
